Engineer in the workshop, always brewing something.
I build software that's small, considered, and a little bit warm. Between commits I take pictures of nebulae, mind a tiny garden, and keep notes on what I've learned.

I’m Diptanil Chaudhuri — a creative technologist, Ph.D. computer scientist, robotics researcher, and software engineer. I like turning research-shaped ideas into practical systems: robot teams that plan under uncertainty, embedded platforms that survive real hardware, and developer tools that make engineers faster without making them miserable.
Currently exploring edge AI systems, building small CLIs, and pointing telescopes at things that are very far away.
